We are looking for a Senior Java Developer / Architect to add to our team

Technical Highlights

• We generate data warehouses for our customers, all driven by data (sector model + business context definitions).
• We focus on utilizing sector-specific information standards.
• We have developed an advanced platform capable of accessing multiple sources, processing data, and exporting results (data) in various formats.
• We orchestrate all Azure resources from our own platform;
• We provide support for taxonomies related to dVi and Annual Reports, both of which are mandatory government reporting requirements. The XBRL file is prepopulated with data sourced from the data warehouse.

Your tasks

Responsibilities

You are part of the development team, which consists of 6 colleagues (3 developers, 2 QA's and 1 analyst). Most of the communication will be remote, some team members reside in France and Romania. Within this team your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Java development
• Design / Architecture
• Bug Fixing
• Coaching the other developers and QA's.
• Being part of product development

Used Techniques

Java – Kotlin-Maven – SQL – SQL databases – Azure/Coud/Fabric – JDBC, Hibernate ORM – HTML/CSS/Javascript – XML and XML related technologies like SAX, StAX, JAX-RS – Webservices/REST/CXF – Jetbrains IntelliJ – Git

Vereisten

Your Skills

We are looking for a senior Java developer/architect with a hands-on mentality, someone who excels in abstracting solutions to ensure applications are generic and suitable for a wide range of customers.

• You have a computer science degree.
• You have 5 years or more of experience with a solid set of the skills mentioned above.
• You have good proactive communications skills in English.
• You're able to be leading and coaching team members.
• You have proven experience with large and complex systems.
• You're conceptual thinker.
• You're willing to travel to Romania.
• Nice to have: Experience with Kotlin – Postgresql – XBRL – Linux.
