Requirements And Responsibilities
As a technical architect in the context of a major app rationalization program you will play a crucial role in streamlining the application portfolio to reduce maintenance costs and improve agility and optimizing application performance and resource utilization.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible of assessing existing applications, designing target architectures, and recommend implementation of new or refactored solutions.
  • Evaluate the current state of applications, identifying redundancies, and assessing technical debt.
  • Define the future state application architecture, including cloud migration strategies, microservices adoption, and API-led connectivity.
  • Recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks to support the rationalized application landscape.
  • Design and implement integration strategies for both internal and external systems, including third-party services.
  • Identify and mitigate potential technical risks associated with the application rationalization program.

What You'll Bring

  • Deep understanding of application architecture patterns (microservices, SOA, etc.).
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Java, .NET, Python, etc.) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in application integration and legacy system modernization.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies.
