Purchasing Representative (Remote – International B2B Markets)

Buttenberg & MP, a leading innovator in tailor-made industrial sourcing and consulting, is seeking a Purchasing Representative to strengthen our global operations. We are a trusted Buying House of industrial and heavy-duty parts, maintenance equipment, and spare parts serving Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Mining, and Shipyard industries worldwide.

This role is all about purchasing, negotiating, and building relationships with suppliers and clients across Europe, the Americas, and Africa. If you are ambitious, skilled in communication, and fluent in English, this position offers a dynamic career path with unlimited potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure best pricing, terms, and delivery conditions.
• Build and manage long-term business relationships with international partners.
• Handle daily communications with suppliers and clients primarily by phone and email.
• Source industrial and heavy-duty parts across multiple sectors (Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Mining, Shipyards).
• Draft, review, and send purchase orders, RFQs, and quotations in clear professional English.
• Provide after-sales support and maintain customer satisfaction through effective follow-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Representative, or in procurement.
• At least 3 years of Higher Education (Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related fields preferred).
• Fluency in English is mandatory. (Strong written and spoken English required – basic English is not sufficient).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and grow international supplier and client relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial markets (Oil & Gas, Mining, or related sectors).
• Excellent computer and math skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
