Procurement Specialist (Buyer)
for our client, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of uniforms and military equipment for government agencies in Romania.

Location:
Headquarters – Galați

Main Purpose of the Job:
Manage the sourcing, negotiation, and acquisition of goods and services, with a focus on international trade. This role involves direct supplier engagement, logistics coordination, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project deadlines.

Job Profile:

• Identify, negotiate, and pre-contract suitable suppliers and services for tender and commercial projects.
• Ensure timely procurement of goods and raw materials from both domestic and international suppliers based on inventory and project requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
• Manage international procurement logistics, including customs brokers, freight forwarders (air, sea, rail, road), and accredited quality inspection services.
• Oversee supplier and stock databases using MRN CHARISMA ERP.
• Participate in tender-related procurement processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines and specifications.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in international trade, procurement, or commercial services in the last 4 years.
• Proven international negotiation skills and strong communication abilities.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, INCOTERMS, quality standards (AQL), customs tariffs (TARIC), and banking regulations (URCC, URDG).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel – expert level).
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Category B driving licence is an advantage.
• Personal attributes: intelligence, quick thinking, multitasking, determination, and high attention to detail.
