About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
Software Architect
to join the
Core Banking System (CBS)
project, focusing on
T24 (Transact)
integrations. The selected candidate will serve as a
technical expert
, collaborating closely with the
IBM integration team
to ensure seamless API and batch integrations between systems. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in
Temenos T24
,
banking systems architecture
, and
integration frameworks
involving
Java
,
REST APIs
, and
message queues
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the
    technical lead and architect
    for the T24 integrations within the CBS program.
  • Collaborate with the
    IBM integration stream
    to design, validate, and ensure proper functioning of APIs and batch interfaces.
  • Analyze and define integration requirements between T24 and other banking systems.
  • Develop and review
    API specifications, integration flows, and data mappings
    .
  • Oversee the design and delivery of
    real-time and batch integrations
    (using Java, REST, Queues, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with
    banking architecture standards
    ,
    security guidelines
    , and
    best practices
    .
  • Provide
    technical guidance and mentorship
    to development teams involved in integration delivery.
  • Participate in
    solution design reviews
    ,
    performance optimization
    , and
    issue resolution
    .

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years
    of experience in
    banking technology projects
    , with a strong focus on
    Core Banking Systems (CBS)
    .
  • Proven expertise in
    Temenos Transact (T24)
    architecture and integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with
    API development and integration
    using
    Java
    ,
    REST
    , and
    message queues
    (e.g., MQ, Kafka).
  • Strong understanding of
    batch processing
    ,
    data exchange
    , and
    interface management
    in banking ecosystems.
  • Experience in working with
    integration partners
    (preferably IBM or equivalent enterprise vendors).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work
    on-site in Bucharest
    at least
    3 days per week
    and coordinate across global teams.
