What We're Looking For
Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis team in Orange is a dynamic team acting in the world of Finance while being a valuable partner for business. We are looking for a curious talented Financial Planning & Analysis Lead to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing
Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Conduct end-to-end (E2E) financial analysis to support business decisions, including profitability assessments, cost analysis and Investments and variance reporting
  • Contribute and deliver monthly financial reports, to senior management and Orange Group
  • Identify key trends and variances in financial data, providing actionable insights to improve performance

Performance Analysis

  • Perform year-over-year (YoY) and actual vs. budget/target comparisons to track performance against objectives
  • Benchmark performance against industry standards or internal KPIs to ensure competitive positioning
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis (including by drivers) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities or risks (e.g., cost optimization, revenue growth)

Budgeting, Forecasting & Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts using one of: Bottom-up/ Zero-based/Top-down approaches.
  • Monitor adherence to budgets and provide detailed variance analyses with recommendations for corrective measures
  • Prepare and present budget/forecast exercises and strategic plans to senior management and Orange Group Business Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business units by providing financial guidance on: Strategic initiatives/ Investment opportunities/ Cost management strategies.
  • Facilitate discussions with departments regarding financial performance, resource allocation, and operational efficiency Project Support & Strategic support
  • Support the evaluation of new business opportunities, capital expenditures, and investment proposals through detailed financial modelling
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial plans with the organization's long-term strategic objectives

What You Need To Know/have

  • Business analysis & modelling, forecasting
  • Reporting techniques (i.e. dashboard, reports, trends, graphs, etc.)
  • Business acumen: understanding of a telecom operators business, operational processes
  • Change management knowledge
  • Knowledge of end-to-end controlling activities and processes
  • English language - fluent; French is considered a plus
  • Adaptability, curiosity
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Analytical and long-term thinking
  • Influence and persuasion in transversal relations
  • Ability to see the big picture
  • Management reporting & presentation skills
  • Able to translate operational drivers into financial KPI's
  • Dynamic and proactive attitude
  • RPA & Data & AI is a plus
