Your new company:

We are currently looking for a Grid Connection Engineer to join a renewable energy company in Bucharest.

Your new role:

In this role, you'll oversee initiatives that facilitate the integration of energy assets—such as solar installations, battery systems, and wind power—into the electrical grid.

You'll be responsible for ensuring these undertakings are completed effectively, meeting defined objectives in terms of scope, budget, and timeline.

You'll also serve as the primary contact for all matters related to grid access and compliance, including technical specifications, commercial considerations, and regulatory frameworks across both transmission and distribution infrastructures.

What you'll need to succeed:

Academic background in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power systems.

Over five years of hands-on experience with integrating mid-to-large scale energy generation systems (ranging from 10 to 50 MW) into the grid.

Proven track record in managing and contributing to grid connection procedures within the Italian energy sector.

Well-established professional network across major stakeholders in the power and renewables industry.

Familiarity with typical cost structures for infrastructure development and procurement of technical components.

Fluent communication skills in English, written and spoken.

Proficient in using productivity and documentation tools, particularly the Microsoft Office suite.

Additional certifications or studies in renewable energy technologies—especially in the field of RES—are considered a strong asset.
