Established in 2008, Agricover Credit IFN is the leading non-bank financial institution in Romania, specialising exclusively in lending to farmers. We have developed successful partnerships with more than 5000 farmers, constantly offering them innovative financing solutions tailored to their specific business.

We are looking for a
Product Manager
responsible for defining and executing the product vision and strategy by aligning user needs with business goals, ensuring cross-functional coordination to deliver value in line with IFN and AGV Group's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product vision in alignment with IFN and Agricover Group's strategic goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the business model and market dynamics to guide product direction.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, informed by customer insights, business needs and market trends.
  • Collect, analyze and prioritize input from internal stakeholders, users and external partners to shape the product backlog.
  • Facilitate alignment across business units, executives and development teams on product priorities, scope and trade-offs.
  • Serve as the key liaison between technical teams and business leadership throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of a detailed product backlog, ensuring deliverables align with strategic priorities.
  • Act as the key decision-maker during product design and development phases, providing clear business context and direction.
  • Oversee end-to-end product delivery, ensuring releases are high-quality, timely, compliant and within budget.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration and ensure organizational readiness through structured communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Present product updates, strategic plans and performance metrics to executive stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous product improvement through iteration, user feedback and performance monitoring.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

  • Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle—from concept through launch and optimization - within regulated financial environments (banks, IFNs, fintech). Demonstrated success in developing and scaling at least 1–2 impactful products or features, combining customer-centric thinking with business goals and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong strategic mindset with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Solid business acumen blended with technical fluency in digital financial products.
  • Deep customer empathy paired with a sharp focus on timely delivery.
  • Skilled communicator able to engage executives with vision and developers with precision.
  • Decisive and pragmatic in prioritization, balancing value, feasibility, and urgency under pressure.
