Senior Java Developer

Would you like to join our international teams that deliver applications to businesses of BNP Paribas Group entities around the world?

We are looking for Java Developer colleagues to join our Germany development teams. We are working closely with our partners from BNP Paribas entities in order to support the company's strategy to maintain, develop and migrate applications to a Cloud platform.

Main responsibilities:

Be part of features journey from idea to production by adding value all stages of Agile way of working (planning, designing, development, testing, release to production etc.)

Develop quality software application including documentation, testing, code review, etc.

Assist in Production issues

Share knowledge about your area of expertise, best practices and provide functional support

What we are looking for:

Experience in Java technologies and relevant JEE projects (Java Enterprise Edition).

Backend

o Java Standard Edition (8 and 11)

o Java Platform, Enterprise Edition

o Spring Boot

o EJB / Spring Session Beans o Interceptors / Spring AOP

o Bean validation / Spring Core o Dependency injection / CDI / Spring Core Persistence

o JPA (Hibernate), JTA or Spring Data (if experience in Spring then easy to move on Hibernate with JPA&JTA) Web services

o JAX-RS ( REST API ) / Spring MVC with Rest Others

o JBoss AS o Database: SQL and/or PostgreSQL

o Database Programming Language: T-SQL

o Linux: Basic knowledge

o Building & tools: Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Nexus,

o Unit tests: Junit/Mockito/PowerMock

o Version control system: GIT
