Description:

Akindra Talents (member of the Belgian Brainbridge Group) is a Romania-based IT workforce company providing flexible (IT) staffing solutions and support to global customers. At Akindra Talents (based in the heart of Transylvania, Romania), we focus on connecting talents to our customers all over Europe. We build and manage remote (operational) support and development teams and offer support to our (freelance) collaborators during their journey.

Job purpose:

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for systematically collecting, analyzing, and interpreting competitive and market data in the European promotional textile market. This data is used to provide the marketing team with valuable insights, which contribute to optimizing our strategies, improving our offering, and strengthening our competitive position.

The analyst will play a crucial role in identifying trends, price movements, and marketing activities of our competitors, enabling our client to respond quickly to changes in the market and proactively adjust its strategies. By using advanced analytical methods and tools, the analyst ensures that the client can make well-informed decisions on product development, pricing, marketing, and customer acquisition strategies.

This includes identifying new opportunities in the market, improving the client's visibility against competitors, and contributing to the success of marketing campaigns by providing insight into the effectiveness of competitive strategies.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Competitive analysis

  • Tracking competitors in Europe (e.g. prices, products, marketing activities).
  • Comparing products and offers with those of competitors.
  • Reporting on what competitors are doing in terms of promotions, offers and marketing strategies.

2. Data Collection and Analysis

  • Use online tools (such as websites, social media, market reports) to collect data on competitors.
  • Analyze this data to discover trends that are important.
  • Create weekly and monthly reports for the marketing team in the Netherlands.

3. Support the Marketing Team

  • Provide information to help develop new marketing campaigns and product strategies.
  • Assist in developing pricing strategies and promotional offers.

4. Use of Analysis Tools

  • Work with programs such as Excel, Google Analytics and simple BI tools to process data.
  • Present data in clear reports for the management team in the Netherlands.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or similar field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing research, data analysis or similar roles.
  • Languages: Fluent in Romanian and English (written and oral). Dutch/German nice to have.
  • Technical skills: Experience with Excel and basic data analysis tools. Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus.
