Let's talk about the role

We are looking for an Observability Engineer to design, manage and maintains the Observability Platform used to continuously monitor products and technical components to detect, react and prevent incident, contributing as such to a high level of availability, reliance and performance. The Observability Engineer contributes to vertical integration of Observability Platform within Tech ecosystem processes and Engineering Platform delivering Infrastructure as Code, Middleware as Code delivery.

What will you do?

  • Administer, manage, and support the central observability platform to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with the CI Factory team to integrate observability tools into provisioning and delivery processes.
  • Promote observability best practices by training and supporting squads and peers.
  • Continuously improve tools and processes to align with market trends and business needs.
  • Work collaboratively with technical and functional stakeholders in a fast-paced, solution-oriented environment.

What are we looking for?

  • Observability tools experience (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana, AppDynamic, Dynatrace or Instana, Nagios…) is mandatory.
  • Expertise with administration, support and troubleshooting of enterprise applications.
  • Experience with the following (or similar) technologies:

Operating Systems (Linux, Windows) & Networking (DNS, routing, etc…)

Application Servers and databases

Authentication services

Azure

Containerization and Kubernetes (AKS)

DataBricks.

  • Hands on experience with Monitoring, Patching, Backup, Disaster Recovery, High Availibility,… solutions is desirable.
  • Cloud and Security expertise is desirable.
  • Desire to work in a "multi-projects" approach and a multi-cultural environment.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional proficiency in French is a plus.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
