About the Role

We're seeking a self-motivated
IT HelpDesk Specialist
to join our team and deliver technical support to our colleagues. You'll get real ownership over improving how our office and teams are equipped technically — from setting up and maintaining devices to introducing smarter, more efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for all internal incidents (hardware, software, network) across workstations
  • Swiftly diagnose and resolve common issues related to office applications, peripherals, and access, ensuring minimal downtime for colleagues
  • Manage the full user account lifecycle, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and password resets
  • Handle the full lifecycle of IT assets, including the setup, configuration, deployment, and secure disposal of laptops, desktops, and software
  • Ensure all employee devices are secured with antivirus software and comply with internal security policies
  • Perform basic network diagnostics (Wi-Fi, connectivity issues) and manage VPN access
  • Assist with monitoring firewall settings and core network security for the local office
  • Maintain the smooth technical operation of the physical office environment

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • At least 1 year of experience as a HelpDesk/SysAdmin or a similar role
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in MacOS, Linux, or Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity communication tools (Slack, MatterMost, others)
  • Experience with backup systems and network diagnostic programs
  • Knowledge of antivirus software and mail software
  • Understanding of network security concepts
  • Experience in configuring firewalls and setting up VPNs
  • Familiarity with intrusion detection systems
  • Native level of Romanian proficiency, Upper Intermediate level of English

  • A degree in a related field or completion of relevant system administration courses will be considered a plus
