About This Role
As a Supplier Security Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that VOIS's suppliers meet the highest standards of security compliance. You will be responsible for conducting due diligence, monitoring supplier risk profiles, and ensuring that security assurance processes are effectively implemented throughout the supplier lifecycle. This role is essential in safeguarding our organisation's data and operations by mitigating third-party security risks.

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong background in third-party security risk management. You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and you are passionate about maintaining high standards of security across complex supplier ecosystems. You are collaborative, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement in a dynamic global environment.
What you will do
- Liaise with suppliers to gather relevant information and monitor ongoing compliance based on their risk profiles
- Conduct security assurance activities for critical and high-risk suppliers
- Ensure suppliers are assessed, onboarded, monitored, and offboarded with appropriate due diligence related to security
- Operate and enhance processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms related to supplier security assurance
- Act as a subject matter expert in supplier security assurance, including due diligence testing, assessments, and contract negotiations
- Support the evolution of the Supplier Security Assurance framework to align with emerging threats and best practices
- Perform and document security assessments, initiating appropriate assurance responses
- Produce high-quality, accurate, and informative reports on supplier security assurance activities
What Skills You Need
- Proven experience in third-party security risk management within a complex global organisation
- Strong understanding of ISO standards relevant to security disciplines
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing capabilities
- Familiarity with supplier governance and security management processes, practices, and technical controls
- Ability to analyse complex information and present it clearly and effectively
- Desirable certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor
