The Information Security Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the organization and its clients comply with information security rules and regulations and they implement appropriate policies and procedures to protect data and information.

The responsibilities of an Information Security Compliance Specialist include:

  • Developing and implementing information security policies and procedures, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Monitoring and evaluating the organization's compliance with information security policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that employees comply with information security policies and procedures
  • Creating and providing employee training and education on information security
  • Interacting with external organizations, such as regulators, regarding information security issues.
  • Preparing periodic reports on the organization's compliance status with information security policies and procedures
  • Providing information security risk assessment reports and recommendations for risk mitigation
  • Preparing reports for regulators and trading partners on the organization's compliance status with information security regulations.
  • Identifying and assessing information security risks within the organization and for the organization's clients.

Required knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of information security rules and regulations applicable to organizations
  • A good understanding of information security technologies and associated risks
  • Ability to make relevant recommendations and suggestions to improve the organization's security.
  • Communication and presentation skills related to an organization's security in a clear and concise manner, both internally and to clients.
