Overview
We are seeking a
Romanian-speaking Content Moderator
to join the ByteDance trust & safety team. The role focuses on reviewing, analyzing, and moderating content to ensure user safety and compliance with platform guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with safety, legal, and community guidelines.
• Identify and remove harmful, abusive, or inappropriate material.
• Respond promptly to content-related incidents, escalating cases where necessary.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy while meeting productivity targets.
• Contribute feedback on policies and process improvements.
• Stay informed about platform updates and safety standards.

Requirements
Essential

• Fluency in Romanian (C1/C2)
• Strong command of English (for training and internal communication)
• Ability to work on-site in Porto
• High emotional resilience and ability to handle sensitive content
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and rotational days off

Preferred

• Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or customer operations
• Familiarity with online platforms and digital media guidelines

Work Conditions
Shift pattern:

• Monday to Sunday — 09:00 to 18:00, with 2 rotating days off
• Planned additional shift: 13:00 to 22:00
• Future possibility of moving to a 24/7 rotation

Work model:

• On-site only
