Romanian Content Moderator

Location: Porto (On-site) Start Date: 4 December 2025 Languages: Romanian Overview We are seeking a Romanian-speaking Content Moderator to join the ByteDance trust & safety team. The role focuses on reviewing, analyzing, and moderating content to ensure user safety and compliance with platform guidelines. This position requires strong emotional resilience, as it may involve exposure to sensitive or potentially disturbing content. Key Responsibilities Review and moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with safety, legal, and community guidelines. Identify and remove harmful, abusive, or inappropriate material. Respond promptly to content-related incidents, escalating cases where necessary. Maintain high quality and accuracy while meeting productivity targets. Contribute feedback on policies and process improvements. Stay informed about platform updates and safety standards. Requirements Essential Fluency in Romanian (C1/C2) Strong command of English (for training and internal communication) Ability to work on-site in Porto High emotional resilience and ability to handle sensitive content Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset Ability to work shifts, including weekends and rotational days off Preferred Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or customer operations Familiarity with online platforms and digital media guidelines Work Conditions Shift pattern: Monday to Sunday — 09:00 to 18:00, with 2 rotating days off Planned additional shift: 13:00 to 22:00 Future possibility of moving to a 24/7 rotation Work model: On-site only Compensation Meal allowance per working day Benefits Company-provided shared accommodation Stable employment with growth opportunities within an international environment Training provided Important Note for Candidates This position involves daily exposure to graphic, disturbing, or sensitive material as part of the content review process.
