Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality application releases.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing as per project requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and defects in collaboration with development teams using tools like JIRA or TestRail.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Automate test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright and Tosca.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure compliance with security, performance, and regulatory standards in the banking sector.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications

o Solid expertise in test management tools.

o In-depth understanding of various testing types and strategies, including: Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Functional Testing (Smoke, Regression, UAT), Non-functional Testing (Performance, Security)

o Proficiency with testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Karate, Gatling, k6, JMeter, or similar.

o Good working knowledge of development languages like Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.

o Strong experience with test automation within CI pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Git, and Docker.

o Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, GitLab Duo).

o Professional experience in quality assurance and test management processes.

o Fluent in English and French both spoken and written.

o Nice to have: demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies and implementing Agile testing practices.
