What you'll be doing

• Play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications with a strong focus on Liferay DXP. Your responsibilities will include:
• Build and maintain robust Java applications using Liferay DXP, collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration.
• Create custom themes, portlets, and modules tailored to project needs, while adhering to best practices for performance and security.
• Connect Liferay DXP with third-party services and APIs to ensure smooth data flow across systems.
• Conduct comprehensive testing and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high application performance.
• Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for code, processes, and system architecture.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, UX/UI designers, and fellow developers. Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

What you'll bring along

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Java development.
• Proven expertise in Liferay DXP (7.x or later).
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.
• Liferay certification is a plus.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
