About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud DevOps team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure and deployment solutions for our global clients. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to the evolution of our DevOps practices, and help ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software and infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design and Develop Infrastructure Automation: Plan, design, and implement infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
- Collaborate with Global Customers and Teams: Work directly with international clients and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver tailored DevOps solutions.
- Deploy Solutions on Customer Infrastructure: Lead and manage deployment processes across customer environments—whether on-premise, cloud, or hybrid—with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Create and Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation for infrastructure configurations, deployment workflows, operational procedures, and support processes.
- Implement and Manage CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling to support automated, secure, and efficient software delivery.
- Monitor, Maintain, and Optimize Infrastructure: Set up and manage infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Proactively address performance bottlenecks and operational issues.
- Ensure Security and Compliance: Apply security best practices across the infrastructure lifecycle. Ensure alignment with customer and regulatory compliance standards.
- Support Development and QA Teams: Provide development and testing teams with robust, automated environments. Integrate DevOps practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues swiftly. Implement long-term solutions to improve system reliability.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and lifecycle best practices
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Proficiency with IaC tools, especially Terraform
- Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS, OpenShift, EKS, GKE)
- Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes packaging and deployment
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Experience configuring monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
- Knowledge of cloud-native networking concepts (ingress controllers, service mesh, load balancing)
- Experience applying security best practices in cloud and Kubernetes environments (e.g., RBAC, pod security policies)
- Strong working knowledge of public cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and tools (e.g., Argo CD, Flux) is a plus
- Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and HA strategies in cloud-native environments
- Ability to thrive in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Excellent problem-solving and incident response skills
- Clear and effective communication skills, with strong documentation capabilities
- Willingness to participate in on-call support, if required
