we are looking for a new colleague in the position of:

L2/3 Service Support Engineer

Your main responsibilities are:

  • You are member of the Global Remote Services team and the technical liaison for 2nd and 3rd level Service Desk.
  • Perform Service Desk Operation - Operate the service desk to ensure 24/7 uninterrupted service for customers and other external parties.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the availability, capacity and continuity plan and monitor accordingly ensuring 24/7 availability and performance of the solution & support according to customer agreed Service Level requirements.
  • Perform remote deployment activities on hardware delivered to customer sites and on demand via physical site travel.
  • Process all Incidents, Changes and Problems ensuring effectively and timely their resolution.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Yokogawa subsidiaries, service teams and customers concerning the Yokogawa portfolio, resulting in proper system, solution, or service functioning, minimizing the technical risk, and realizing efficient business process continuity.
  • Provide services by means of in-house VOIP support, remote support, and testing before rolling out into product environment.
  • Yokogawa proprietary and 3rd party application deployment as remote support solutions.
  • In case future services must be provided outside the home office, willingness to work on site, at affiliates, offshore or overseas to suit service requirements.

We are looking for a colleague with:

  • Proven IT experience and competences.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in Networking and ITIL.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Windows Servers - WSUS, Active Directory and DNS
  • Knowledge of using Linux CLI.
  • Good understanding about Network Infrastructure services and protocols TCP/IP, Firewall, Proxy, VPN.
  • Familiar with Technology and Tools – SIEM, Trellix (McAfee)/ Microsoft Defender
  • Good knowledge of and affinity with client workstations, servers, software, routers, switches, anti-virus, and experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
  • Experience as a System Administrator, DevOps nice to have.
  • Basic Scripting Knowledge for languages such as (PowerShell, Bash)
  • Relevant bachelor's degree, certification (Microsoft, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation would be a plus) and working experience in Networking and Microsoft/ Linux Server Environment.
  • Fluently English (speaking and writing skills)
  • Willingness to work on call of basis providing on-demand 24/7 remote support to customers, also covering weekends and national holidays. Normal working hours are M-F 08:16:30
