Why are we hiring a Business Analyst?

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Analyst to join our growing Architecture Practice. 
This role bridges the strategic vision and technical execution of Instem's solutions. You'll partner with Enterprise & Solution Architects, UX Designers, Engineering Leads, and business stakeholders to shape clear, deliverable initiatives—right from idea through to deployment. You'll help with ensuring our solutions are well-defined, compliant, and aligned to stakeholder needs.

What are you responsible for? 

• Elicit & Clarify Needs: Drive workshops to uncover business drivers, problems, and outcomes.  

• Shape the Vision: Collaborate on defining problem statements, business cases, scope, and success measures.  

• Translate Requirements: Map business needs into solution context with architects – balancing technical feasibility and compliance.  

• User-Centric Design: Partner with UX to define user journeys, pain points, and opportunities for enhanced experiences.  

• Model & Document: Develop business process models, user stories, acceptance criteria, and artefacts supporting agile delivery.  

• Maintain Alignment: Ensure solutions adhere to business strategy, architecture principles, and regulatory demands.  

• Lifecycle Engagement: Support lifecycle artefacts – Discovery Packs, Initiative Briefs, Feature Maps – through delivery.  

• Facilitate Collaboration: Drive alignment across business, design, architecture, and delivery teams.  

• Elevate Practices: Improve BA tools and methodologies within Architecture Practice. 

• Adherence to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Required

• BA experience in technology or software firms, ideally within SaaS or life sciences sectors 

• Deep understanding of end to end delivery workflows—from discovery to delivery 

• Skilled in business process modelling (e.g., BPMN) and requirements elicitation 

• Comfortable with Agile / Lean methodologies; writing user stories and acceptance criteria 

• Excellent communicator and facilitator, able to engage across levels 

• Collaborative mindset, thriving in multidisciplinary teams 
Desirable

• Experience with UX design principles or close collaboration with UX professionals 

• Proficiency with common business analysis tools such as Miro, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence  

• Exposure to regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or clinical trials 

• Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
