  • Implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements while optimizing costs.
  • Identify potential suppliers / subcontractors, conduct suppliers' / subcontractors' evaluations, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with tender and project management teams to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials / services.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies to maintain quality and reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions.

Qualifications
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics or from a technical university (i.e. civil engineering / mechanical engineering or similar) or any other university with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in procurement, preferably within rail infrastructure, but it is not mandatory condition
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Very good writing and communication skills in Romanian and English language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
