Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team in the automotive industry. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, efficient, and reliable software solutions that support production control systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in a software engineering-related discipline, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Java and Java-related frameworks like Spring or Quarkus.
  • Experience with frontend-related frameworks and tools such as Angular and Jest is a plus.
  • Strong background in SQL and database management (e.g., Oracle, Postgres).
  • Experience with GitHub/GitHub Actions and Jenkins for CI/CD processes.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Git.
  • Experience with messaging systems like Kafka and various communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, HTTP).
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
  • Experience in writing unit tests and managing deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment tools like Azure and ArgoCD is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
