Automation Engineer Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and testing, with a focus on automation. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying and reporting issues and defects.
  • Work closely with manual testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in the identification and implementation of automation best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by providing feedback on areas of improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience within software testing area.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Proven experience in automation testing using Java for web applications and APIs.
  • Understanding of AWS services and cloud-based testing environments.
  • AWS certification(s) in relevant areas is a plus.
  • Proficient in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven).
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze log files, and work with developers to resolve defects.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
