Agile Project Leadership OpportunityAbout the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple teams in delivering technology projects and product development according to their agreed working practices. The successful candidate will lead delivery efforts, report status of delivery progress, facilitate team events, and support continuous improvement and learning activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives using a servant leadership style
  • Conduct data-driven reporting to show teams' progress and maturity for transparency to the team and senior management
  • Support teams in identifying and overcoming impediments to their objectives
  • Maintain teams' agreed working practices as an accountability partner
  • Create a trusting and vibrant environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame or judgment
  • Facilitate delivery via collaboration, discussion, and decision making rather than assigning or dictating work
  • Cultivate team maturity by assessing and coaching to higher levels of agility at a sustainable pace
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven track record as Scrum Master for multiple teams, delivering complex technical projects with dependencies between teams
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and experience applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory as Scrum Master for a software development team
  • Experience working in a regulated environment preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of Agile, Scrum, and XP software development methodologies, values, and practices required
  • Ability to articulate value of metrics and reporting within agile delivery including backlog management, burndown/burnup charts, team velocity, cycle times, and task definition
  • Excellent understanding of Jira and Confluence and ability to create compelling reporting from underlying data
