As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in improving machinery and process systems, leading to increased productivity and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include identifying and correcting electrical failures or automation equipment programs, project managing the build of automation panels, and participating in technology upgrade projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and correct electrical failures or automation equipment programs
  • Project and build automation panels
  • Participate in technology upgrade projects/installation of new production systems
  • Own the programming definition, testing, and execution for Industrial Control Systems (ICS) such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs) and Human-to-Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
  • Provide technical direction to vendors and engineering firms throughout all phases of the project
  • Input to project scope, cost, schedule, and resourcing
