As a detail-oriented and motivated professional, you will play a key role in our Global Business Services (GBS) team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable and collection processes, ensuring accurate payment processing, handling adjustments and deductions, and supporting overall financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices, as well as excellent analytical skills and financial data interpretation ability.

In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to be able to communicate and negotiate with customers regarding deductions, adjustments, and overdue accounts, as well as collaborate with finance and sales teams to align collection strategies and accounting practices.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately receive and deposit customer payments, ensuring timely application to customer accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain AR reports providing insights into outstanding balances, cash flow, and collections.
  • Post AR activities to the general ledger in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Communicate and negotiate with customers regarding deductions, adjustments, and overdue accounts.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to align collection strategies and accounting practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in collections or accounts receivable.
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial data interpretation ability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or Chartered Accountant designation.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or SAP.
