Smart Banking Solution

You will have the opportunity to work on an exciting project called SBM (Smart Banking Manager). SBM is a critical application that orchestrates orders related to the main business processes of the bank, keeps customers' assets for further use in external applications, and aims to be the main source of the bank's product catalogue.

As an Appian Software Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the Smart Banking Manager application operates at peak efficiency. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and challenge requirements
  • Develop processes, user interfaces, and integration plugins using out-of-the-box functionalities provided by our Appian platform
  • Produce clean code and application configurations based on specifications
  • Participate in code review, development shadowing, development detail design, and agile ceremonies
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of the development process
  • Provide L3 support for live applications

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-have skills: 

  • Previous experience in a technical consultant role or programming role
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Appian platforms as a developer/consultant
  • Middle-level expertise in database programming (preferably on cloud-based platforms like Maria DB or PostgreSQL)
  • Solid experience with integrations based on API, JMS, Kafka, etc.
  • Advanced English skills
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Abstract thinking
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to details and ability to organize work

Nice-to-have skills: 

  • Prior experience with JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, etc.
  • Banking industry experience
  • Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
  • Knowledge of developing software using Agile methodologies
