Quality Assurance Lead
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead to oversee the quality assurance process for our projects centered around PostgreSQL databases. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement test plans, automate testing processes, and ensure all database solutions meet our rigorous standards.
Responsibilities:- Develop test strategies and execute test plans specifically for PostgreSQL databases.
- Conduct data validation, integrity checks, regression, and performance tests.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts, primarily in SQL, to streamline our testing process.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure quality.
- Identify and resolve database issues, and document all testing phases.
- Minimum 5 years QA experience, specifically with PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and QA tools like JIRA.
