Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team at our Cluj-Napoca office.

This role will involve developing, deploying, and maintaining the backend servers for various projects. We value candidates who are willing to take technical ownership and make significant contributions in terms of code and proposed architectural solutions.

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. This position will require at least 3 days in the office each week.

Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively and professionally in a team environment to develop software for specific requirements and technical problems, following established coding standards.
  • Create and execute designs for small sets of new functionalities as part of a software project.
  • Demonstrate proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate and bring value by actively participating in code reviews and technical discussions.
  • Utilize development tools for version control, deployment, monitoring, and other instruments used in the software engineering process.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Java SE 8 or newer.
  • Good knowledge of web services (REST APIs) and Spring Boot.
  • Knowledgeable about relational or non-relational databases.
  • Good understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
  • Good usage skills of development tools (version control, deployment, issue tracking).
  • Strong English speaking and writing skills.
  • BSc in Computer Science, IT or similar.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
