We are seeking a young professional with a passion for cloud computing and software engineering to join our team as a Trainee Cloud Operations Engineer. This two-year traineeship offers the chance to develop both personally and professionally, operating in different teams within our organization.

Job Overview

As a Trainee Cloud Operations Engineer at ORTEC, you will be part of a dynamic team that builds products used by customers across the globe. Your role will involve ensuring our products are scalable, hosted in the cloud, and have effective monitoring and alerting systems.

You will have the opportunity to work with various tools and techniques, including Azure, Jenkins, and Power Shell. If you are new to these technologies, internal courses will help you get up to speed. You can also rely on the expertise of your colleagues and learn from them.

A performance manager will guide you throughout your time as a trainee, focusing not only on hard-skill development but also on soft-skills as a young professional.

After two years, you will have gained a good understanding of what type of work gives you energy, and many people within the organization will know you. This enables us to find the right place for you to further your career within ORTEC.

Requirements
  • A bachelor or master's degree in computer science or a related subject
  • A passion for cloud computing and software engineering
  • Programming or scripting skills, such as C#, Power Shell, or similar
  • Experience with cloud vendors like Microsoft Azure (preferable)
  • Able to handle high complexity environments and work in a team
  • Conscientious in staying abreast of new developments
  • Curious, flexible, and able to quickly come to the essence of a problem or situation
