We are looking for a Sr.

Financial Planning Analyst in our FP&A department who will be responsible for managing and analysing the financial aspects of the SG&A (Selling, General & Admin) functions.

This includes budgeting, variance analysis, month-end close activities and financial support to SG&A functions.

This role requires a blend of financial acumen and technical skillset to work independently on developing and maintaining financial systems, automating reporting processes, and providing strategic insights through advanced data analysis.

Key Area of Responsibilities: Drive budgeting Collaborate with the SG&A department to develop annual budgets and forecasts, quarterly risk and opportunities review, long term planning.

Monitor and report on budget performance, identifying any areas of concern.

Ensure effective coordination and alignment with the FP&A team for all financial activities related to the SG&A costs Variance Analysis Perform monthly variance analysis to compare actual SG&A costs against budget and forecast.

Investigate and explain variances, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.

Prepare detailed variance reports for management review.

Month-end close Drive and supervise month-end close activities related to SG&A costs, ensuring accurate and timely recording of expenses.

Reconcile accounts and ensure all transactions are properly accounted for.

Supporting SG&A Functions Act as a financial advisor to the SG&A functions, providing guidance on financial matters.

Support the team in understanding financial impacts of their decisions and projects.

Assist in the financial evaluation of projects and investments.

Process improvement and system development Design, develop, and maintain financial systems to support the finance department's needs and facilitate process streamline Ensure systems are integrated smoothly with existing financial processes and data flows.

Implement automation solutions to improve efficiency in financial operations.

Leverage data visualization tools to improve data communication.

Compliance and Policies Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.

Assist in internal and external audits related to SG&A costs.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is considered a plus.

Professional experience: 5-7 years of experience in Finance with at least 3-5 years as finance business partner, financial analysis, budgeting and variance analysis for Fix costs.

Demonstrated skill in financial systems development is required.
