In order to strengthen our Financial Team in Bucharest, we are looking for a Senior Accountant.

As a Senior Accountant, you ensure accuracy of transactions posted in both US GAAP and Local, being involved in month-end close related activities and ensuring the reporting deadlines are met.

We will count on you to:

  • Ensure the accuracy of the transactions posted in both US GAAP and Local, being involved in all the month-end close related activities US GAAP and Local and ensuring all the reporting deadlines required by the Company are met
  • Prepare/review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations in accurate manner
  • Prepare US GAAP and Local journals and monitor the correct posting in Oracle system
  • Assist with the monthly analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet deviations
  • Liaise with the internal accounting company, the external company's consultants, and auditors
  • Ensure any ad-hoc reporting that might be required is delivered in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support year-end process (audit, statutory accounts preparation, tax computations, Local to US GAAP Retained Earnings reconciliations)
  • Support other function colleagues in accounting matters.
  • Our hybrid model allows to work 2 days remotely and 3 days from our Bucharest office.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience on independent position in a Finance/Accounting department
  • General ledger accounting experience
  • Computer proficient, very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in English.
