Position overview

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Randstad Digital Romanian Team in a challenging project in Bucharest (hybrid work model), in the biometrics and cybersecurity field.


Our client's playground is represented by:
identification, authentication, and securing of people and objects.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing CMDBs in complex IT environments.

Managing all project phases:
build/design, configuration, API integration, one2one testing and end-to-end testing, deployment in prod, training and knowledge transfer.
Software design and implementation.
Documentation writing.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of ITIL concepts, especially in the context of Configuration Management.
Proficiency in designing and implementing CMDBs in complex IT environments.
Proficiency in automated data ingestion tools
Proficiency in Victoria Metrics, Azure Monitor, and Loki for extracting asset information.
Proficiency in Device42 CMDB tooling for Discovery, Asset Management, Dependency Mapping.

Capacity to manage all project phases:
build/design, configuration, API integration, one2one testing and end-to-end testing, deployment in prod, training and knowledge transfer.
Familiarity with Python programming language.
Familiarity with Architecture design (Microservices, RESTful API, Swagger) and Systems security design (DICA criterias, High Availability, Scale out).

Familiarity with DevOps development processes, infra-as-code practices, DevOps tooling and Azure cloud assets (Scrum/Agile with Jira, Azure, Ubuntu, K8s, PODs and Docker, Terraform, Ansible playbooks, Jenkins-based CI/CD, etc).

Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration skills.
Software design and implementation.
Documentation writing (Confluence).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
