As a Senior Accountant at Goodyear, you will play a key role in shaping the financial future of our company.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare month-end financial information to a high standard, ensuring compliance with required reporting legislations and corporate deadlines.
  • Support the preparation of Annual Financial Statements, including US GAAP vs Local GAAP reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax legislation, authorities (VAT & Corporate Tax) and internal Transfer pricing policies.
  • Support the maintenance of internal controls, adhering to the internal controls framework and Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation.
  • Liaise cross-functionally within Finance to ensure Internal Control activities are maintained and adhered to.
  • Participate in ad-hoc business and controlling projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent (MBA, CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance and accounting, with continuously increased responsibility.
  • Experience collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants.
  • Strong knowledge in accounting principles for both local and US GAAP/IFRS.
  • Deep understanding of accounting procedures, business processes, and operations.
  • High degree of computer literacy (SAP, Microsoft Office).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English and German.
