The International British School of Bucharest is currently seeking to appoint a qualified, experienced Science teacher, with a specialism in chemistry/physics with a proven track record of outstanding teaching in KS3 and KS4-year, 10 and 11 . To start August, 2024.
 
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must be fluent in English, be an outstanding teacher, be passionate about teaching physics/chemistry, able to deliver the KS3/IGCSE Cambridge curriculum, with a history of high grades achieved, have strong classroom management skills, and have a minimum of 3 years experience.. The ability to offer science-related clubs, to develop more interest in science would be warmly received.
 
Specific Requirements:
 
• Positive outlook on life
• Good communication skills
• Evidence of outstanding teaching in science, especially in physics/chemistry
• Minimum 3 years teaching IGCSE science, in particular, chemistry or physics
• Advanced English Speaker
• 3 positive references (covering the last 5 years of teaching)
• EU passport holders preferred
 
 Additional requirements are desirable, but not essential:
 
• Previous experience teaching in international schools
