Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for talented Full-Stack Engineers to join our team and contribute to Marsh McLennan's Generative AI capability in collaboration with the Award Winning Ireland Innovation Centre. As part of our internal incubator, you will have the chance to validate new technologies and ideas from across the business, build proof-of-concepts (POCs), develop pilot programs, and coordinate towards maturity before launching them into the wider MMC Tech teams for further development.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND VALUES:

• 2+ years of experience 

• Experience with a modern frontend framework, ideally React (Vue Angular are good too) 

• Practical experience with NestJS / NodeJS or similar stack 

• Experience with or knowledge of Python 

• Strong understanding of restful APIs 

• A creative, problem-solving approach to your work 

 

What makes you stand out: 

• Practical experience with Kubernetes and MongoDB 

• Knowledge on LLM's 

• Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques

• Knowledge on RAG 

We will count on you to: 

• Collaborate with counterparts in the Dublin AI team. 

• Operationalize prototypes that the Dublin or local AI team has developed. 

• Ensure operationalized prototypes can be handed over to business technology teams. 

• Be a collaborative developer comfortable in an Agile environment. 

• Be a lifelong learner with an appetite for improving your craft, introducing change, and collaborating with like-minded colleagues. 

• Identify and implement improvement opportunities. 

• Create and maintain best practice development frameworks and establish standards, e.g. Prompt Engineering. 

• Develop practices and guidelines to improve consistency and reuse of solutions.
