DevSecOps Manager

We are looking for: We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for DevOps, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, software security, development tooling, and deployment automation for our next-generation Voice Communication Systems (VCS) for the aviation and Air Traffic Control (ATC) market. Our products are mission-critical communication systems, where reliability, security, traceability, quality, and predictable delivery are essential. What you will do: DevSecOps Team Leadership
• Lead, develop, and manage a team of 10–15 DevOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, and Security Engineers.
• Define team structure, responsibilities, objectives, and technical direction.
• Recruit, coach, and develop team members, promoting ownership and continuous improvement. DevSecOps Strategy & Architecture
• Define and implement the DevSecOps strategy, architecture, and roadmap for R&D.
• Establish standardized, scalable, and secure development and integration environments.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and technology improvements. CI/CD & Software Delivery
• Own and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
• Automate build, testing, security scanning, packaging, and deployment activities.
• Ensure reliable, reproducible, traceable, and controlled software releases. Security Engineering
• Integrate security practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Implement security scanning, vulnerability management, secrets management, and supply-chain security.
• Establish security standards, automated controls, and security gates within CI/CD pipelines. Infrastructure & Environment Management
• Oversee R&D infrastructure, development, build, test, and integration environments.
• Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and availability.
• Promote automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Automation & Engineering Productivity
• Drive automation across R&D to reduce manual activities and improve engineering efficiency.
• Identify and eliminate infrastructure, tooling, and deployment bottlenecks.
• Promote continuous improvement, standardization, and engineering best practices.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Software Infrastructure, Cloud/Platform Engineering, or related areas.
• 3+ years of experience in technical/team leadership or people management.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams, ideally 10+ people.
• Strong hands-on understanding of modern DevOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and modern software engineering practices.
• Practical understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development.
• Experience implementing security controls and automated security testing within CI/CD.
• Experience with Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of source-code management, artifact management, configuration management, and release processes.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory. Nice to have:
• Experience in Avionics, Aerospace, Defense, Air Traffic Management, Telecommunications, or another mission-critical industry.
• Experience with safety-critical or highly regulated software.
• Experience with Voice Communication Systems, VoIP, telecommunications, or distributed communication systems.
• Experience with aviation development standards and processes.
• Knowledge of ED-136 / ED-137 or related aviation communication standards.
• Experience with software certification or certification-oriented development processes.
• Experience with cybersecurity standards and frameworks relevant to embedded, avionics, or mission-critical systems.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Experience establishing a DevSecOps organization from the ground up.
• Experience managing geographically distributed teams.
