The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in the mechanical integration of analytical systems, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential in translating engineering documentation, customer specifications, and applicable standards into optimized manufacturing processes. If you are a proactive engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about continuous improvement, this opportunity is for youIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Analyze engineering documents (P&ID and GA drawings) to create detailed mechanical integration plans;Participate in project meetings and act as a key collaborator during the handover to production kick-off stage;Collaborate with Design Engineering, Testing, and QA to disposition discrepant parts and assemblies, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions;Develop safe and efficient manufacturing processes by researching, designing, modifying, and testing methods and tools;Collaborate with equipment suppliers and work together to build and provide mechanical supports, assemblies, and tools for system integration;Develop training guidelines and evaluation procedures for mechanical technicians;Research and recommend new manufacturing methods to improve production capacity, efficiency, and quality;Create comprehensive manufacturing documentation necessary for production of analytical systems;Coordinate maintenance and repair of tools and machining equipment, following manufacturer instructions and company procedures;Participate in multi-functional process improvement teams and implement lean manufacturing principles;Provide support to the testing team for internal checkout and factory acceptance tests (FAT);Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines. You are motivated by continuous improvement, problem-solving, and optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency, safety, and quality.For This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electro technical Engineering;Minimum 5 years of relevant experience providing engineering support in a manufacturing setting;Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and manage different projects;Knowledge of MS Office and CAD software;Experience implementing and supporting Lean Manufacturing practices;Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:Hands-on experience with mechanical integration of analytical systems;Experience working directly with suppliers and contractors to design and implement mechanical assemblies;Familiarity with process improvement methodologies beyond Lean Manufacturing;Exposure to testing and validation procedures, including factory acceptance testing (FAT).Our Culture & Commitment to You:At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
