Road Design Engineer

Road Design Engineer
to work with a
leading Italian construction company
, globally recognized for excellence in large-scale infrastructure.

We're looking for talented professionals—ideally
Italian or Italian-speaking
—to join the team and play an important role in this high-profile project.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Assist in the preparation of design drawings, plans, and technical documentation.
• Support alignment and profile design using industry-standard CAD and civil engineering software.
• Perform quantity take-offs and basic calculations under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, drainage, structures) to integrate design requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, specifications, and design submissions.
• Participate in site visits and surveys to support the design development process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant technical standards, codes, and client specifications.

Experience and qualifications:

• Engineering degree in Roads, Bridges, and Railways.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in road/highway design (internships or graduate roles considered).
• Native of proficient level of Italian language and professional working proficiency of the English language
• Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MX Road, or similar.
• Good understanding of road geometry, cross sections, and alignment principles.
• Basic knowledge of local/international road design standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocodes).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.
