Job Description

Project Managers are a key part of delivering Mercer projects, having a complete overview on the whole lifecycle, from the initial discussions all the way to the post-project Lessons Learned. Main responsibilities involve creating and maintaining the Project Plan, assuring that the toolkits and milestone plans are up to date and clearly communicated to all stakeholders, negotiating timelines, and supporting in negotiating requirements, assuring delivery by the agreed deadlines, and maintaining the flow of the Project with all stakeholders.

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the successful execution of delivery operations by coordinating and managing various workstream activities. This role requires excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

What can you expect?

• Analyze data to generate comprehensive reports on project status, timelines, potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
• To be responsible for leading a project team in implementing the full lifecycle of a project.
• To form strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and business partners.
• Work with the Implementation Team on resource analysis
• Document the procedures and processes pertinent to the assigned role within the online knowledge base and tools.
• Work closely with teams to identify process bottlenecks and any inefficiencies.
• Present findings and performance insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Facilitate periodic project status meetings and furnish comprehensive updates to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope and requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Proactively engage and follow up with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely input
• Monitor project progress and coordinate activities to keep projects on track
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to resolve issues and clarify requirements
• Support the project team in administrative tasks and project documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools

• Always manage and track project deliverables in line with project budget, scope and quality.
• Manage the scope of the project with the internal and external teams in line with the signed contracts and desired outcome.
• Manage actions, risks, and issues ensuring the project team and stakeholders are aware of progress and their responsibilities.
• Ensure internal and external teams are aware of upcoming milestones on a timely basis.
• Work with the team on reporting any escalations, on extending timelines or highlight any business risk to the project.
• Take ownership of the success of the project delivery as a whole working with the Project Team and the stakeholders
• Identify areas for process improvement internally where possible and help to mentor and support other team members in their roles.
• Work comfortably with large volumes of data, applying data cleaning and transformation techniques
