We are seeking a skilled and committed,
Surveying/Topography
to support the infrastructure project in Bucharest. The ideal candidate will provide accurate surveying services and control for all phases of the metro line construction, including alignment, vertical and horizontal control, setting out, monitoring, as‑built verification, and liaising with design, engineering and construction teams. Ensure works are executed in accordance with design, specifications, quality, and safety requirements.

  • Establish, maintain and monitor survey control networks (benchmarks, reference points) along the metro alignment, including tunnels, subways, stations, shafts, portals etc.
  • Familiarity with: alignment, tunnel face, station footprints, platform edges, track alignment, utilities, shafts, etc.
  • Familiarity with topographic surveys and as‑built surveys; produce relevant maps, profiles, cross‑sections, digital terrain models.
  • Verify that construction elements (concrete works, structural components, shaft excavation, lining, track works etc.) match design drawings and tolerances.
  • Monitor and measure deformations, settlements, displacements during excavation / tunneling / station construction (instrumentation & monitoring).
  • Ensure all survey measurements and data are documented, archived, transferred to design or QC teams as required.
  • Maintain and calibrate survey instruments (total stations, GPS/GNSS, laser scanners, levels, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards on site.
  • Assist with preparing progress reports specific to the surveying work: milestones, issues, corrective actions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Surveying, Geomatics, Geodetic Engineering, Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Experience
    : at least 1 year working in heavy civil / infrastructure / metro / rail / tunnel construction projects.
  • Familiarity with survey control and instrument operation: total stations, GPS/GNSS, laser levels, laser scanners etc.
  • Familiarity with using CAD, Civil 3D, GIS or equivalent software. Familiarity with BIM may be advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, geometrical skills.
