About the Project

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced
Logistics Manager (Capo Piazzale) - TBM Logistics
to join one of Eastern Europe's most ambitious infrastructure developments. This strategic corridor will connect central Romania to the Pan-European Transport Network, significantly improving mobility, trade, and economic development in the region.

The project includes complex engineering challenges, including long tunnels excavated using
Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM)
, viaducts, and rugged terrain — making it a truly landmark project in modern European infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all logistical activities in the TBM area, including material handling, equipment mobilization, and site organization.
• Supervise the site yard (piazzale) operations, ensuring efficient flow of materials, equipment, and personnel.
• Ensure proper coordination between logistics, TBM operations, and supporting departments.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across logistics and site yard operations.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics movements and site inventory.
• Support the implementation of Lean Construction principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar logistics / site yard coordination role on large-scale infrastructure or tunneling projects involving
  TBM works
  .
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment logistics, site layout planning, and construction supply chain.
• Familiarity with TBM operations is a significant advantage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project needs.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Fluency in
  Italian
  is
  required
  ; knowledge of English or Romanian is considered a plus.
• Technical diploma or degree in civil engineering, logistics, construction management, or related field preferred.
