What awaits you 

  • As a Test and Defect Manager, you will be the cornerstone of quality assurance across projects, ensuring that applications and systems are thoroughly tested and meet business expectations
  • Responsible for planning and overseeing test cycles, coordinating defect management, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver stable and reliable solutions
  • Lead end-to-end testing activities, from test planning and strategy through execution and reporting
  • Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing across multiple streams
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Manage test environments, data preparation, and ensuring readiness for each test cycle
  • Oversee defect lifecycle management: logging, triaging, prioritizing, tracking, and retesting defects using tools like JIRA
  • Facilitate daily defect triage meetings and ensuring timely resolution of issues with appropriate stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation and provide clear reporting on quality metrics, test coverage, and defect trends
  • Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards in collaboration with development and operations teams 


What should you bring along  

  •  University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field
  •  5+ years of experience in software testing and QA, with a strong focus on test coordination and defect management, especially in complex and large-scale distributed software projects
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with test management tools such as TestRail or Xray
  • Mandatory experience with QA Automation (Playwright/Selenium/other)
  • Hands-on knowledge of defect tracking systems like JIRA
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple test cycles and stakeholder expectations
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve defects systematically
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into clear business impact
  • ISTQB Certification or similar is a plus
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
