About the Role

We are looking for a
Functional Test Engineer (Mobile)
to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality, stable, and user-centric mobile applications. You will play a key role in defining, executing, and analyzing end-to-end tests for iOS and Android applications, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

In this role, you will oversee the entire testing process  from test planning and identifying critical scenarios, to investigating and thoroughly documenting defects. You will work closely with development teams, architects, and the QA Lead, supporting continuous product improvement and ensuring safe, stable, and well-documented releases.

Main Responsibilities

·      Define, execute, and analyze end-to-end tests for mobile applications (iOS & Android).

·      Manage the full manual testing lifecycle: test planning, test definition, execution, defect reporting, analysis, and release sign-off.

·      Perform exploratory testing and document defects thoroughly (reproduction steps, screenshots, videos).

·      Validate mobile UI/UX: navigation flows, gestures, accessibility (VoiceOver/TalkBack), localization, dark mode, permissions, deep links, push notifications, background/foreground behavior, app upgrades.

·      Test under real-world conditions: device and OS matrix, weak/absent network, offline mode, low battery, low memory/storage, etc.

·      Identify suitable candidates for test automation.

·      Collaborate closely with development teams, architects, and the QA Lead.

Relevant Tech Stack

·      Load & performance: k6, k6-operator, xk6, JSON/Prometheus outputs.

·      APM: Grafana, OpenTelemetry.

·      Backend/Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Redis, DynamoDB, AWS/Azure/GCP.

Mandatory Requirements

· years of experience in functional QA for mobile products (iOS & Android).

·      Strong experience in manual UI testing and exploratory testing.

·      Solid defect investigation skills and clear, high-quality documentation for developers.

·      Experience with Xray (test management) and Jira.

·   Strong understanding of mobile platform conventions, accessibility (WCAG), and app distribution (TestFlight, Google Play Internal).
