SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (GROW) Functional Consultants

What will you do?

As a SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the functionality of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (SAP S/4HANA) systems across key modules. You will work closely with end-users and technical teams to deliver sustainable solutions, ensure compliance with business and legislative requirements, and support the continuous improvement of SAP S/4HANA cloud-based systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing Level 2 and Level 3 functional support for SAP S/4HANA users.
• Managing Level 3 incidents escalated to SAP S/4HANA and ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitoring the performance and availability of functional SAP S/4HANA processes and collaborating with the technical team to resolve incidents.
• Identifying and analyzing recurring problems and recommending functional optimizations.
• Performing low to medium-impact system configurations based on operational or legislative requirements.
• Managing and implementing Change Requests, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
• Executing transport of changes and new configurations.
• Participating in testing activities related to SAP S/4 HANA (Support Packages, OSS Notes, and legal changes).
• Supporting cloud infrastructure teams to ensure that system updates and patches are applied efficiently and safely.
• Contributing to SAP S/4HANA release management, identifying and presenting new functionalities to key stakeholders.
• Documenting processes, frequent incidents, and applied solutions.
• Training key users and offering functional support for day-to-day SAP usage.
• Maintaining up-to-date technical and user documentation.
• Utilizing ticketing systems effectively to manage requests and track incidents.

What are we looking for?

Work Experience & Knowledge

• 3–6 years of experience as a functional SAP consultant, ideally in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (GROW).
• Strong expertise in one or more of the following modules:
• FI/CO (Financial Accounting & Management Accounting)
• MM (Sourcing & Procurement)
• SD (Sales)
• Solid understanding of SAP cloud architecture (S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori).
• Proven experience in configuration, testing, and documentation within SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA version and release management is a plus.
• Familiarity with ticketing tools and ITIL practices is an advantage.

Education & Skills

• University degree in Economics, Informatics, Computer Science, or similar.
• Certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate are a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and client-facing communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Languages

• Fluent in Romanian and English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of German or other European languages is considered a plus.
