Corporate Business Controller

The
Corporate Business Controller
will be responsible for supporting Top Management in the management of all activities, with a particular focus on the analysis and processing of data, ensuring their accuracy and reliability. The role includes supporting budget preparation, actual performance analysis, data consolidation, and forecasting. The Corporate Business Controller will also be able to interpret financial results, formulate specific action plans, and follow up on their implementation within the area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reporting and communication of financial KPIs.
• Lead the monthly closing process through the dedicated Group reporting tool;
• Prepare monthly performance reviews for both internal stakeholders (Carrefour Romania) and external reporting (Carrefour Group in France);
• Anticipate financial results and business impacts by actively contributing to: Monthly landing forecasts / Yearly rolling forecasts / Annual budget preparation / Strategic planning exercises;
• Support the Automation Project by improving existing reports, developing robust analyses, and adapting reporting tools to follow evolving business models;
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis and studies on specific business-related topics as required.
• Maintain frequent communication (oral and written) in English with international partners.

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, controlling, and analysis;
• Excellent command of reporting tools and ERP systems (experience with automation solutions is a strong asset);
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs consistently;
• Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and opportunities;
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to work in an international environment;
• Proficiency in English (both oral and written); other languages are a plus.Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field;
• Relevant experience in financial reporting, FP&A, or controlling (experience in a multinational environment preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial reporting systems.
