Vast Visibility specializes in technology which powers Insurance Price Comparison Websites, working with almost all of the major UK Price Comparison brands. We are currently operating a hybrid model of working, allowing our employees flexibility around where and when they work. Vast Visibility is part of the Howden Broker Group, which is one of the largest insurance groups in the world.

About the role

As a DevOps engineer, you will build, deploy, configure, and maintain modern serverless projects on Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure. You will learn to work with technologies such as containers (Docker and Kubernetes), scripting languages, and CI/CD tools. You will gain experience in all aspects of developing cloud-based projects and take your first steps towards becoming a system engineer.

Profile we are looking for:

  • Recent graduates in Computer Science, Economic Informatics, or related fields;
  • Eager to learn and grow in the DevOps area;
  • Good problem-solving skills and willingness to work in a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • Basic networking;
  • Operating system administration (Windows, Linux);
  • Basic scripting;
  • Good English (both in speaking and writing).

Nice to have:

  • Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure);
  • Familiarity with Git;
  • Basic experience with CI/CD tools.

Contract type
: 1-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension to a permanent role.
