Role: Junior ABAP Developer - BTP Integration

The role:

We are looking for a Junior ABAP Developer - BTP Integration for our office in VASS BRASOV, who would join a team of open-minded and personable people.

• Develop simple ABAP programs within SAP BTP integration projects under supervision
• Create and modify basic reports, forms, and data manipulation programs
• Write clean and well-documented ABAP code following team standards
• Complete comprehensive SAP BTP integration training
• Study provided documentation and training materials independently
• Successfully pass technical assessment after probation period
• Perform unit testing of developed programs with guidance
• Use SAP debugger to troubleshoot simple technical issues
• Participate in system testing and validation processes
• Work closely with senior developers and learn from integration team members
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to solution design sessions
• Provide basic support for existing ABAP programs and integrations
• Learn and apply SAP BTP integration patterns and best practices with mentorship
• Assist in data migration and integration activities
• Help troubleshoot integration issues under senior developer guidance
• Participate in system monitoring and maintenance activities
• Assist in transport management and version control activities
• Document test results and bug fixes for future reference

And you?

• Minimum 1 year of ABAP development experience in any SAP environment
• Basic knowledge of ABAP syntax and programming concepts
• Experience working with internal tables, structures, and work areas
• Familiarity with FORM routines and function modules
• Understanding of SAP Data Dictionary (creating basic tables, domains, data elements)
• Ability to build simple classical reports and basic ALV reports
• Basic data manipulation skills (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, MODIFY)
• Knowledge of basic transaction handling and error messaging
• Ability to use the SAP Debugger for simple troubleshooting
  
  Nice-to-Have Skills
• Awareness of enhancements (BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits)
• Introductory knowledge of object-oriented ABAP concepts
• Understanding of SAP transport requests and basic version control
• Basic knowledge of SAP integration concepts
• German proficiency
