Hacksaw Studios is a company that builds online games. Our games can be played both in social gaming and real money modes. We have a wide distribution and our games are played by millions of people every month by players all over the world.

We are currently looking to expand our team with a Quality Assurance Specialist.

We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to work for Hacksaw Gaming. The candidate will work with the Development to make sure our games are of the highest quality. This is a fast paced and constantly changing environment, so the ideal candidate is able to work under pressure and with tight deadlines and can easily adapt to rapid changes in workflow.

Your tasks will include

  • Testing games and game related features (such as user interface, usability, functionality, platform integration) on multiple platforms and operating systems;
  • Creating, maintaining, improving and following through on test plans, including writing and executing test cases;
  • Bug and defect handling, analyze deviations between the defined and the actual functional behavior and reporting bugs; additionally, testing the fixes and making sure no regression is introduced;
  • Sanity checks and functionality tests on existing product portfolios, as the games and platform receive periodical updates;
  • Working on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously;
  • Communicating and working in close collaboration with the Development, Account Management and Compliance departments;
  • Creating, maintaining and improving internal processes according to the needs of the team and in accordance with the requirements communicated by other departments;
  • Creating, maintaining and handling internal documents required by other departments or clients;

  • Ability to understand technical specifications and strong analytical skills
  • Attention to details
  • Test case writing / checking experience
  • Ability to achieve performance with tight deadlines and strict planning
  • Ability to work independently or in small teams
  • Excellent English (written and spoken) skills
  • Passion for testing and customer service
  • Knowledge of testing processes, procedures and methodology
  • Experience in defining, documenting, maintaining and writing test cases
  • Previous experience in a similar job will be considered a plus
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages of development simultaneously
